September 2026
Monica's Web
The Edit.
A note from Monica
Summer's gone quiet, and the to-do list has gotten louder. September always means back to business.
There's no ignoring it now, the season has properly turned. The light's shorter, the mornings are cooler and work has picked back up now that summer's slower pace is behind us. It's meant longer days at the desk, but there's something about this shift I actually like. September has always felt like more of a fresh start to me than January does.
It's also the perfect time to take stock. If you haven't looked at your website in a while, this is a good moment to go back through it with fresh eyes. Is everything still doing its job? Does it still sound and look like you? Sometimes a small seasonal refresh - new colours, a different tone, a few updated images - is all it takes to make a site feel current again. I'll be doing exactly that over the next few weeks, easing things into autumn one small change at a time.
A little something for the soul.
September's full moon falls on the 26th and is known as the Harvest Moon - the full moon that lands closest to the autumn equinox. It's also sometimes called the Corn Moon, named for the time of year when the last of the summer crops were traditionally gathered in before the colder months arrived. It rises bright and golden, night after night. Close to the same time, as if lighting the way for one last push before the season changes.
As the light starts to shorten — what's ready to be gathered in, tidied up, or let go of? 🌕
This month's finds
Things Worth Your Time.
September 2026
This month's finds are a little mix of things that have been on my desk, in my head and making my days a bit nicer. Nothing forced, nothing sponsored, just things I actually love.
I've been reaching for the Tisserand roller balls and room sprays a lot lately. The scents are perfect and they genuinely help me get into the right headspace before I sit down to work. I'm currently loving the Energy routine, a spritz of the room mist and a roll of the roller ball and I feel ready to go. A little natural ritual that makes a big difference in my day.

My desk essential. Neal's Yard hand cream - natural, smells incredible and my hands thank me every time I use it.
Shop →This month's palette
September's colour palette. Inspired by falling leaves and damp, fresh walks in nature. Warm rust, faded green and the softest earthy brown. Save the hex codes and bring a little of the season into whatever you're building this month. 🍂
